Installing the PhotoFlair® plug-in module for Premiere on Windows

bulletDownload the Premiere plug-in to your hard drive from the following:
bullet http://download.truview.com/pf_windows/photoflair_prp.exe (920K)

bulletThe download file name will be “PhotoFlair_prp.exe”. This is a self extracting zip file and includes the PhotoFlair® Plug-in and the Help file for Premiere 6.x. The files included in the zip are listed below:
bulletfl-PhotoFlair.prm = PhotoFlair® Plug-in
bulletfl-PhotoFlair.htb = PhotoFlair® Help File

bulletOnce you have downloaded the zip file to your hard drive you will need to extract the two files into your Premiere “plug-ins” directory.  This is done by double clicking the downloaded “PhotoFlair_prp.exe” file.  The unzip utility window will open; enter or browse to your Premiere “plug-ins” directory from the following selection.

bulletYour Premiere “plug-ins" directory location may vary depending on the version of Premiere you have installed.  The default Premiere “plug-ins” directory location for Windows is listed below:
bulletVer 6.x (C:\Program Files\Adobe\Premiere 6.x\Plug-Ins)

bulletWhen you have entered or browsed to the proper directory from the above selection, click “Unzip”.  When done unzipping, it will display “2 file(s) unzipped successfully.” You have now extracted the PhotoFlair Plug-in filter and the Help file (fl-PhotoFlair.prm and fl-PhotoFlair.htb) and can close the unzipping utility window.

Apply the PhotoFlair filter to any video clip.  You will see a "Setup" button for PhotoFlair as you would any other video filter.  Click the "Setup" button to bring up the settings dialog.

If the PhotoFlair® Plug-in does not show up, it is because the files have not been extracted to the proper Premiere “plug-ins” directory.
